Characteristics: Crisp, fresh and elegant with bright fruit flavours and a touch of citrus in the finish.
Recommendation: Serve with all kinds of savoury or slightly spicy foods from Pacific Rim Cuisine to classic dishes from the Continental cuisine, from crabcakes to crab in saffron broth and from grilled curried chicken salad to turkey with all the trimmings. Great with rich patés and with blue cheeses as well as “smelly” raw milk cheeses (Munster et al).
