Zone of production: Tenuta San Giacomo, Butera (CL).

Grape: 100% Nero d’Avola

Average age of vines: 20 years.

Vinification: Elimination of stalks and fermentation in contact with the skins at a controlled temperature of 28°-30°C for 10 to 15 days. Malolactic fermentation in 20 hectolitre barrels. Fining for 12 months in these same, followed by further fining in the bottle.

An intense, red, mediterranean wine.
It fills your nose with pepper, juniper berries and dry figs, and finally with cocoa.
On entering the mouth, it is soft and rich and gradually spreads notes of dry figs and liquorice.
