![]() BatasioloWhen the Dogliani family purchased the historic ‘50’s Chiola winery in La Morra, at the heart of the Valley of Barolo wine, they entered the Gotha of great Piedmontese wines by right. The property is made up of nine ‘beni’ – farmhouses with vineyards - covering a total of over 100 hectares, 60 of which are planted with the Nebbiolo variety from which Barolo is made. Beni di Batasiolo keeps with the tradition that identifies the real value with the term ‘bene’: land, the vineyard, the farm, and a place situated in a morphological fabric made up of gentile hills and orderly rows of vines.
